Requirements for a Syrian Visa Application
- A passport must be valid for six months on submission and have at least two blank pages & should not bear any Israeli stamps .
- Letter from the employer on headed notepaper.
- 2 colour passport photographs
- 2 Syrian visa forms (per person) to be completed and signed.
- For postal applications, a registered or recorded self-addressed envelope with exact postage must be enclosed.

PLEASE NOTE
1. Visas are valid from the date of issue.
2. To process a visa, allow four working days .
3. The Consular Section is not obliged to give any explanation for not issuing a visa.
4. Passport holder of the following countries do not require a Syrian visa: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen.

Visa fees for British passport holder:
- 32 GBP single-entry - validity three months.
- 50 GBP multiple-entry - validity six months.
Payment of fees: Cash only for personal applicants, and postal orders - payable to the Syrian Embassy- for applications by post.

The above requirements are a summary only. Additional documentation may be requested by the Embassy.
INSUFFICIENT OR INCORRECT DOCUMENTATION MAY RESULT IN DELAYS OR REJECTION OF A VISA APPLICATION.
